Once you have arrived at Katunayake, you will be greeted by our team member and transferred to the hotel at Tissamaharama. The city of Tissamaharama is surrounded by gently rolling hills and vast paddy fields, and it lies about one kilometer north of the large Tissa Wewa reservoir. The town of Tissamaharama is a beautiful, sprawling metropolis. With its stunning location on the banks of the River Tissa, it is the perfect base for visitors planning to see Yala National Park or Bundala National Park. Check in to the hotel and spend a leisurely overnight stay at the hotel.

After having a tasty breakfast, check out of your hotel at Tissamaharama. Then you’ll depart to Nuwara Eliya via Badarawela. This region is often referred to as ‘Little England’, and that’s because it has a sophisticated, vaguely British feel. You’ll find colonial-style houses, Tudor-type hotels, manicured hedgerows and pretty gardens throughout the area. Morning: After breakfast, leave for Kandy. Kandy is a city of history and culture, where nature and man have combined to create a unique landscape. The town is primarily known for its Buddhist monuments, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Kandy is one of Sri Lanka’s most captivating cities and a great place to experience the culture and history of the area. At Kandy, visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden. The Royal Botanical Garden is a must-see if you’re in Kandy, Sri Lanka . It is one of the oldest formal gardens in Sri Lanka. The day wraps up with an evening city tour of Kandy that includes exploring the city of Kandy, Driving around the tranquil Kandy Lake, Exploring the Temple of Tooth, and glimpsing a typical cultural dance performance with drums acrobatic stunts and visiting the gem museum. Check in to the hotel for a fantastic dinner and overnight stay by the end of the day.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel in Kandy and continue your journey to Dambulla. An En-route visit a spice garden at Matale to get a first-hand experience of how essential spices are produced from the farms to factories. Spend the evening in a Jeep Safari in Minnerya National Park. Observe a variety of rare animals in their natural habitats. The National Park at Minneriya is one of the most visited national parks in Sri Lanka. It is conventionally known for its large herds of Asian elephants that gather during the annual dry season and among 70 Important Bird Areas identified in Sri Lanka. After breakfast, proceed to SIGIRIYA, a spectacular rock fortress cut from the stone of the mountain. Climb The Sigiriya Rock Fortress (Lion’s Rock) in Sri Lanka is considered one of the most significant rock-hewan monolithic monuments in this part of the world. It is also the landmark of Sri Lanka. By 1982, UNESCO had declared the site a World Heritage Site. After you’ve climbed Sigiriya, lay back and relax in your Dambulla hotel. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, check out from Dambulla hotel and drive to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa for a guided tour around the town. This ancient city was rewarded as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the 12th century, it is one of the largest and best-preserved archaeological cities in Sri Lanka. It spreads out over an extensive area of approximately 4 km from north to south. After the visit, this ancient city of Polonnaruwa moves to one of the best picturesque beaches in the world: Pasikuda. The beach is characterized by clear, calm, and blue waters. The fine white sand, 24-hour security, and open times make it a perfect destination for vacations and events alike.
